In the late 1990s, Ja'Cee was drawn to the rich storytelling tradition of country music, influenced by icons like Charley Pride and the rock and roll beats of Chuck Berry. These legends provided the soundtrack to his youth, shaping his evolving artistry.
As the new millennium dawned, Ja'Cee's imagination was captured by the bold fusion of country music with hip-hop rhythms and bluesy undertones. His move to Nashville, TN, in 2015 became the crucible where his musical mettle was tested and triumphed.
